Makeup and Style Books

Books make great gifts. Below are a number of good makeup, beauty, and Style books. I particularly recommend the ones that you see in the first three rows. For an all around great guide, the Carmindy book can’t be beat. While for lots of neat insider tips, Beauty Confidential, by Nadine Jolie is a fun and useful read.I also have a particular fondness for The Little Black Book of Style by Nina Garcia of Marie Claire Magazine and Project Runway. Finally, for just plain usefulness, Paula Begoun’s Don’t Go to the Cosmetic’s Counter Without Me is a pretty good guide.
